This POWERFUL, Bio-Degradable Anti-Foul will give under water protection from fouling – Plus General Rigging and Prop Protection against Oxidization, Electrolysis Barnacle Encrustation on your vessel for up to 6 to 8* months.

Suitable for:

bullet Propellers, Prop Shafts, Rudders, Trim tabs, Out drives, Compatible with bronze, stainless steel, aluminum and paint
bullet AYMGI 'Formula' is the ideal marine coating because of its proven ability to resist acid etching.
bullet Subsequent reapplication requires no special hull treatment such as sanding / grinding etc.
bullet AYMGI 'Formula'  Marine Coating will virtually eliminate electrolysis—a little spray will stop this problem.
bullet AYMGI 'Formula'  will in most cases provide a drag co-efficient reduction on high speed vessels such as passenger cat ferries etc.
bullet This drag reduction allows the vessel to slip through the water much easier, this then reduces fuel usage which will benefit the operator of the vessel significantly.

Preparation & Application:

bullet

All vessels which has been in seawater, should first be washed with liquid chloride (Ratio 3:1).

bullet

This is to ensure any microscopic spores are killed / removed.

For previously Anti-Fouled Hulls:

bullet Marine growth of any type and residual anti-foul must be removed.
bullet Surface must be touch dry before application.

2 types of application is possible:

bullet Roller or Brush application. AYMGI must be soften or melted by using either hot water to warm the tub or a hot (flat) frying for Roller application.
bullet A manual spray or compressor style may be used.

Reapplication:

bullet Hot pressure washer / Steam cleaner.
bullet Surface blasting or hand washing.
bullet Water temperature must be above 60 degrees Celsius.

Maintenance:

bullet Static / Moored Hulls must be inspected every 4 to 8 weeks.
bullet Depending on water, tidal, area conditions.
bullet Marine growth can vary according to the environment. Hull may be wiped down, thus leaving the AYMGI attached to the surface .
bullet 12* to 15* months shelf life on vessel.

*Environment conditions play a vital role in fouling of any vessel.

Aluminum Hulls:

bullet Surface must be clean and Dry.
bullet Aluminum cleaner may need to be used for any heavy oxidization.
bullet Then apply AYMGI according to application description.

Fiberglass Hulls:

bullet New / Untreated Hulls will require a Gelcote Sealer.
bullet Surface must be Clean and Dry.
bullet No reported instance have been reported as to reactions with Gelcote.
bullet If unsure, test in an inconspicuous area for reactivity.
